I am a lifelong maker with a background in visual arts, having earned a master’s degree from the University of Texas. As a visual artist, I work with various mediums such as painting, drawing, and sculpting. Since 2012, I have been building and repairing musical instruments. My passion as a builder is to continue innovating, creating, and repairing instruments for as long as possible. Guitar building is alchemy, a combination of magic, science, and religion, and I aim to keep improving my skills in this craft. In my guitars I want a bluesy tone and strong mojo.

Mojo is the intangible magic or energy force that a player can illicit from their guitar. It is helped by a well made instrument.
